Markit Completes Acquisition of SwapsWire
London and New York, NY - Markit, a leading provider of independent data, portfolio valuations and Over-the-Counter (OTC) derivatives trade processing, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of SwapsWire, the electronic trade confirmation network for the OTC derivatives markets.  Markit expects to complete the full integration of the company by July this year.

Markit Agrees To Acquire SwapsWire
Bank-Supported Solution Will Underpin OTC Derivative Growth London - Markit, the leading provider of independent data, portfolio valuations and OTC derivatives trade processing to the global financial markets, has agreed in principle to buy SwapsWire, the innovative electronic trade confirmation network for the OTC derivative markets. The acquisition is expected to complete in early 2008, subject to agreement of definitive documents, due diligence, shareholder and regulatory approval.

Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. and GFI Group Inc. Use SwapsWire for North American Equity Derivatives
Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. and GFI Group Inc., are now live and using SwapsWire for electronic trade notification for OTC equity derivative transactions in North America. This completes the global rollout of equity derivatives for Cantor Fitzgerald and GFI. Cantor Fitzgerald is live with SwapsWire globally for equity derivatives in their Hong Kong, London, Paris, Zurich, and New York offices. GFI is live with equities and interest rate derivatives in Paris, London and New York.

ICAP, LinkBrokers and TFS Use SwapsWire for North American Equity Derivatives
SwapsWire announced today that ICAP Corporates LLC, Linkbrokers Derivatives Corp. (Linkbrokers), and TFS (TFS Derivatives Corp) are now live with North American Equity derivatives on its service. The latest addition completes the global rollout for all three brokers for Equity Derivatives. The three Brokerage houses are now using SwapsWire for electronic trade notification and confirmations for OTC equity derivative transactions in Asia, Europe and North America.
